Neuro Rehab Psychology
Neuropsychology is a specialist area. Much of the treatment is provided within the NHS and within specialist centres. However as a long standing rehabilitation provider TraumaCare has developed access to appropriate treatment providers in the private sector.
It is important the patient undergoes a comprehensive initial assessment with a specialist neuropsychologist. TraumaCare is experienced in arranging the assessment (and subsequent treatment) to ensure relevant information and documentation is available to the neuropsychologist.
There may also be further complications with providing neuro rehabilitation within community settings. Patients may have their own unique circumstances which may make attending therapy problematic. The TraumaCare team is experienced in supporting head injured patients and is pragmatic in helping them overcome problems in a caring and empathetic manner. We are also experienced in coordinating treatment from other disciplines, which may also be recommended to deliver joined-up care.
